Qualifications:
1. At least 18 years of age and one year out of High School.
2. At least one year of prior lifeguard experience.
3. Current WSI certification.
4. Possess a growing faith in Jesus Christ and be able to share that faith with
others.
5. Possess mature leadership qualities.
6. Enjoy working with children and youth.
7. High moral character, physical stamina and emotional stability.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement and oversee a well-planned program of swimming
and
watercraft activities for campers.
2. Test and classify swimming abilities of staff and campers.
3. Utilize staff members’ abilities to the best advantage in carrying out the
camp’s
swimming and watercraft activities.
4. Supervise camp staff and together carry out instruction and lifeguard duties
during
watercraft and swimming times.
5. Maintain the waterfront in a safe and clean manner.
6. Post safety rules, regulations and policies in a visible place and strictly
enforce
them.
7. Implement "lost swimmer" procedure when needed.
8. Attend and participate in all camp activities as time and your schedule
allow.
Remuneration:
1. Pay range is $225-250 per week depending on experience and
qualifications.
2. Private housing, laundry facilities, meals and snacks are provided.
