Camp Greenwood alumni, campers and staff constitute thousands of people here
in Western Michigan, throughout the nation and around the globe. Camp alums
often stop by Greenwood to visit and see what’s new, and some continue to
support the camp by giving a portion of their time, talent and financial
resources to this important ministry. Remember the time when you were a camper
or a staff member at Camp Greenwood? We have formed a Camp Greenwood alumni
group. We meet once a month either at Camp Greenwood or in Lansing. The next
meeting will be in February, 2008 in Lansing. Date to be announced soon!
Alumni are organizing fundraisers for Camp Greenwood and will also be helping to
recruit staff and campers for the 2008 Summer season. We need YOUR help!

There will be an Alumni week this summer! See our brochure for more details!

The Camp Greenwood Alumni Association will be holding its summer meeting at the camp on Saturday afternoon, May 3, in conjunction with “Clean Up, Fix Up, and Paint Up” weekend activities. Come for the day or the whole weekend if able. The camp will be open from Friday evening (May 2) through Sunday afternoon (May 4). Please let us know you are coming and for how long so we can plan cabin space, jobs, and meals (there is no charge for this event). Several Camp Greenwood alumni counselors recently set up a myspace page for camp alums at www.myspace.com/campgreenwoodalumni . Neither the Camp Greenwood Agency nor the Presbytery of Lake Michigan monitors activities on that site and neither are they responsible for its contents. None the less, it is hoped that the page will provide an opportunity for former campers (those over 18 years of age) and staff members to connect with each other and with Camp Greenwood.
